A housing fight, which is five years in the making, centers on an old Jewish Community Center in Walnut Creek. Some residents side with a developer who seeks to build 53 new single-family homes on the roughly 5-acre property, but others are vehemently opposed to the idea. Elyce Kirchner reports.
