Bay Area Homes Spike in Sales

It’s now four months and counting when it comes to new record highs for the Bay Area real estate market. According to CoreLogic, home prices continue to sizzle this summer. The Bay Area median price rose to a record $735,000 in June. That’s up 7.5 percent from one year ago. This month’s data does not include San Mateo County. Sales are up nearly 10 percent. The last time Bay Area median prices fell year over year was in April of 2012. That’s 63 straight months of increases.
