Bay Area Women Call for Ban of Transvaginal Mesh, Bladder Slings as FDA Issues More Warnings

Transvaginal mesh, also known as TVM, pelvic mesh, or a bladder sling, is a medical device that’s been sold to millions of women for years, and resulted in thousands of complaints about severe health problems. It is still on the market. Senior investigative reporter Vicky Nguyen looks into the concerns about a product some say never should have been put into women, and the effort in the Bay Area to get the device banned.
