Botox Benefits for Children?

There is new research out of California suggesting Botox may help children. UC Irvine researchers say Botox may help kids and teens with hard-to-treat migraines. Nine children were given Botox injections in the front and back of the head and neck for 12 weeks. All of them had fewer migraines each month, and their headaches were less painful. The research team is now enrolling patients to participate in a clinical trial to compare Botox to a placebo. Right now, Botox is only approved to treat migraines in adults.
