Brush Fire Burns 50 Acres in South San Jose

A brush fire burning in the South San Jose foothills near Highway 85 at Cottle Road threatened homes as it swept across about 50 acres of vegetation Monday afternoon, according to the San Jose Fire Department. Michelle Roberts and Nannette Miranda report.
