Mother and Son Escape Hayward Fire

Hayward firefighters battled an apartment fire on Tuesday, where was unit was gutted and another suffered smoke damage. Six people were affected by the blaze on Dixon Street, and the power went out. Two people – a mother and son – escape without injury. Christie Smith reports.
