Christmas in July in Denmark

It’s summertime in Denmark, but that’s not stopping people from sharing some early Christmas cheer. More than 150 people gathered in Copenhagen to celebrate Christmas in July. Many donned Santa’s traditional red coat and white beard for the festivities. They even took a dip in the sea to cool off in the warmer-than-winter weather. The jolly people also handed out gifts to children and sang traditional Christmas songs. The annual event is now in its 60th year and has drawn attendees from a dozen countries including the United States.
