Clear the Shelters Helps Animals Find Their Forever Homes

NBC Bay Area’s Jessica Aguirre and Chief Meteorologist Jeff Ranieri spent Saturday at a Walnut Creek animal shelter. At least 900 pets have been adopted at NBC Bay Area and Telemundo 48’s annual Clear the Shelters event. Nationwide at least 80,000 animals have been adopted. NBC Bay Area’s Ian Cull went to several shelters and talked to people about the animals they chose to take home. Adoption fees will be waived at participating throughout the weekend.
