Congressman Wants to Change Laws Involving PPV Boxing

A federal lawmaker is adding some muscle to a debate about pay-per-view boxing. The NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit first exposed that small businesses are getting clobbered by six-figure lawsuits. A South Bay company is suing thousands of people for broadcasting fights they don’t have the rights to show. Business owners say they’re being punished for innocent mistakes.
