Cross Country Runner Hit By a Deer Caught on Tape

A cross country runner in Pennsylvania is recovering after being hit by a deer during a race this past Saturday. The incident happened during the NCAA division III Mideast regional cross country championship at Desales University.This cell phone video shows several deer running across the course. One of them ran right into Gwynedd Mercy University senior Justin Deluzio, sending him crashing to the ground. Deluzio managed to get up and finish the race with the help of two of his teammates. His coach says he’s doing okay, he’s just a little sore and bruised up.
