Deer Spotted Inside New Jersey High School

This wasn’t on the lesson plan for some high school students in New Jersey. A deer was spotted running around the lobby at Ramapo Indian Hills High School in Franklin Lakes. Surveillance video shows the deer run into a parked school bus before rushing into the school after the impact. Cell phone video then shows the frightened animal running laps around the empty lobby before losing its balance and falling on the waxed floor. The animal then sits for a few seconds as its head darts back and forth. The deer keep stammering and falling as workers try to get the animal to come outside. The deer was only in the lobby for about five minutes, but students say they were talking about it all day. A responding officer says the deer was bleeding from its nose and mouth but didn’t appear to be badly hurt as it ran back into the woods after the field trip gone wrong.
