Dennis Peron: Dealer Turned Healer

“I helped build a consensus. It makes me feel good. It makes me feel vindicated,” those words from cannabis activist Dennis Peron. Peron, known as the father of legal medical marijuana, died on January 27, 2018 in a San Francisco hospital. He battled health issues for several years, suffering a stroke in 2010 and was diagnosed with lung cancer nearly two years ago.
