Dozens Arrested at Nuclear Weapons Protest at Livermore Lab

A crowd gathered outside the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory on Friday to protest the lab’s role in helping create military weapons. Organizers, who hold this protest on Good Friday every year, say they appreciate the lab and want it to thrive in the community, but wish it could change from nuclear weapons development to green energy. Twenty-eight people were arrested although the protest was peaceful.
