Driver Thought Elderly Woman “Was a Bird,” After Fatal Accident

In a second major car collision early Monday in Fremont, an older woman was killed by a Corvette driver, in a crash that appeared to be an accident. The driver told Fremont police that at first he thought the woman he struck “was a bird.” Bob Redell reports.
