Elephants Celebrates Buddhist's New Year in Thailand

Trained elephants sprayed motorists and passers-by with water in Thailand’s old capital city of Ayutthaya to welcome in the Buddhist new year, which is known in Thailand as Songkran. Songkran is sometimes called the world’s biggest water fight and is the longest and most important holiday of the year in Thailand. Cities empty out as migrant workers head home to see family and everywhere people celebrate by throwing water and dancing for three days and nights.
