Elie Wiesel, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and Holocaust Survivor, Dies at 87

Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel, the Romanian-born Holocaust survivor whose classic “Night” became a landmark testament to the Nazis’ crimes, has died at the age of 87. In the Bay Area, his loss was acutely felt by those connected to the Jewish community. Chuck Coppola reports.
