Firefighters Prevent Blaze From Damaging Fremont Mobile Home

A brush fire in Fremont came dangerously close to a mobile home park on Friday. Firefighters say flames sparked in a homeless encampment around 230 p.m. Neighbors say the homeless encampment has been there for years, but city officials help by cutting dry grass along nearby railroad tracks cut so a fire, like Fridays, doesnt get out of control.
