FUSD Considers Building New School

The Fremont Unified School District may build a new school. The school board heard from people in the community on Wednesday. The district says the new junior high school would go up on property behind a McDonald’s on Fremont Boulevard. Several schools will convert to middle schools, meaning 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will attend. The district has a timeline to make those changes through the 2022-2023 school year.
