Hawaii's All State Marching Band Practice in DC for Macy's 90th Thanksgiving Day Parade

One of America’s smallest states will have the largest band in this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City. Hawaii’s All State Marching Band met in Washington, DC on Tuesday, to practice together for the first time. There are more than 600 performers. Each member is a part of smaller a band from Hawaii’s eight islands. High school students practice dance routines and their music. They have been getting ready for this parade for a year and a half. After practice, they will get a chance to take a tour of the Capitol and do some sightseeing. On Wednesday, they head to Philadelphia for more practice and sightseeing. They head to New York City on Thursday for Thanksgiving Day parade. This is the 90th anniversary of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.
