Highway 17 Lane Closure in Santa Cruz

Anyone driving from Santa Cruz to the South Bay on Friday may want to prepare for delays. Caltrans crews will be doing emergency tree cutting on Highway 17 in Scotts Valley. Crews will close one northbound lane, between Vine-Hill and Sugarloaf roads. That closure begins at 9 a.m. and should end before 3 p.m. expect delays of up to 30 minutes.
