Lindbergh Hat Goes Up for Auction in France

The flight hat that American aviator Charles Lindbergh lost while, flying a loop in a flight above Paris in 1927 went up for auction in France on Wednesday. The hat was originally discovered by the great grand-aunt of the actual owner in her garden in Le Bourget on the outskirts of Paris in May 1927, only days after Lindbergh lost it. Auctioneers say it could be worth up to $85,000.
