Michael Phelps Flashed Trademark Warmup Before Teeing Off

We may have seen the last of Michael Phelps in the pool, but he’s not done with his patented pre-race warm up. The 23-time Olympic gold medalist played in Tuesday’s celebrity tournament ahead of the Ryder Cup. Phelps broke out his signature “arm-flap” warm up and it worked on the green just as well as it does in the pool. Phelps managed to fire a perfect shot down the middle of the fairway. Despite his Olympic successes, he said being on the golf course was the most nervous he’s ever been. Phelps says he plans to hit the links three times a week to cut down on his handicap.
