Milpitas Reacts to Bill Banning Plastic Bags Statewide

State lawmakers passed the first statewide plastic bag ban in the United States. The fate of the bill is now up to Gov. Brown. While many Bay Area cities, including San Jose and San Francisco, already have a ban in place, Milpitas is a holdout. NBC Bay Area’s Marianne Favro has reaction to the proposed statewide ban.
