Mountain View Redwood Tree Removal Appeal

Mountain View leaders are denying a developer’s request to cut down a group of heritage redwood trees along Walker Drive. The city has an ordinance that requires permission to cut down any tree deemed a “heritage tree,” which is any tree with a trunk that measures 48 inches or larger.
