Muni Considers Regulating Dogs on Cable Car Rules
San Francisco Transportation leaders reportedly plan to take a new look at service dog guidelines for trains and buses, after an incident that went viral. A video from last weekend captured a Muni supervisor and police officer trying to remove a man and his pit bull from a cable car. The man and his dog, Rosie, is a certified service animal. The incident is prompting the MTA to schedule a hearing, to clarify when and where service animals should be allowed.
