Navy Commissions USS Tulsa in San Francisco

The Navy commissioned its newest combat ship, the USS Tulsa, Saturday morning in San Francisco, in a traditional ceremony before putting the ship into active duty. The 32-hundred ton Tulsa was built in Alabama and is a new high-tech ship designed for military operations close to shore.
