New BART Riders Ask for Upgraded Parking Machines

Parking at BART can be a pain. Longtime riders know the rules, but what about first time customers? New commuters in the East Bay say they got ticketed even after they paid for parking; BART’s parking machines let them pay for spots that turned out not to be valid. The riders are asking for a technological upgrade – but BART says no way. Investigative Reporter Liz Wagner reports in a story that aired on Feb. 13, 2018.
