New East Bay Express Lanes Draw Drivers

According to a new report by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, more than 22,000 new flex tags have been activated since the Interstate 680 express lanes opened. This is about the same amount activated when the Interstate 580 express lanes opened back in February 2016. Solo drivers with fast track can use the lanes for a fee that adjusts depending on traffic levels.
