Newark Preschool Fined After Toddler's Death

State regulators announced stiff penalties this week against an East Bay preschool following the playground death of a toddler. On Monday, the Department of Social Services issued a $10,000 fine to the owners of Park Side preschool in Newark as part of a settlement to revoke the school’s daycare license.
