Walnut Creek Officials to Discuss New Downtown Plan

Walnut Creek leaders on Tuesday will host another brainstorming session to boost the area that’s immediately north of downtown. The long-term plan simply known as the “North Downtown Specific Plan” could alter the commercial district surrounding North Main Street from Civic Drive to Parkside Drive. Organizers will hold a community workshop at the Civic Park Community Center. They’re hoping to receive ideas from the public.
