Obesity Epidemic Levels Off in Most States, Study Finds

America’s obesity epidemic may be leveling off. A new report finds adult obesity remained stable in the majority of states over the past year. The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, however, still found obesity rates over 35 percent in five states. The report also found racial minorities, people without a college education, and those living in the south and midwest are more likely to be overweight.
