Owner Knew of ‘Hazardous Conditions' Around Warehouse for Years, City Records Show

Documents uncovered by the Investigative Unit show the City of Oakland issued multiple liens on warehouse owner Chor Ng. Records show she failed to pay up when the city had to fix code violations involving a nuisance, or substandard, hazardous, or injurious conditions. The liens involve the property right next to the warehouse, which was filled with trash and debris. Liz Wagner reports in a story that aired on Dec. 5, 2016.
