Panda Celebrates 3-Month Birthday

Tokyo’s newest giant panda has reached the three month mark and Ueno Zoo released video footage of the furry celebrity to commemorate the day. The baby panda has four canine teeth. While its eyesight is still developing, the cub takes an interest in things in front of it. When measured on Sunday, it weighed in at nearly twelve pounds and was two feet long. The cub had been inseparable from its mother, Shin Shin, which used to live with it in the room where it was born. In September the mother panda started frequenting the adjacent room. The name of the cub will be announced after September 20th, when the panda becomes 100 days old.
