Passengers Save Man Who Went on BART Tracks

Tense footage from BART shows passengers jumping to action to warn a train operator of a man on the tracks. You can see people waving their arms. This happened Monday afternoon at the Civic Center station. Cell phone video shows the man lying across the tracks. Fortunately the train operator saw the passengers warnings and hit the emergency stop button. Crisis negotiators stepped in to remove the man safely from the tracks.
