Pending Legislation Makes Crime on Cruise Ships More Transparent

Pending legislation will require cruise lines to include closed FBI cases, open FBI investigations and alleged crimes in public reporting statistics. Previously, the law only required the public disclosure of crimes that the FBI investigated and closed. This change comes nearly three years after an NBC Bay Area investigation into crime at sea.
