Fighter Jet Painted Pink in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

A brand new exhibit on Monday was unveiled on the flight deck of the USS Lexington in Corpus Christi, Texas. This fighter jet was painted pink in support of breast cancer awareness month. The aircraft is an F9F Cougar that saw action as a fighter jet during the 1950’s. It’s the first plane exhibit ever to be painted pink and displayed on the ship. It will be on display until the end of the month before being power-washed and restored to its original finish.
