Protestors Take a Swing at a Trump Pinata

The small group of protesters held the demonstration to call on Americans to vote against Trump and to denounce his anti-Mexican rhetoric. Trump has famously accused Mexicans of being rapists and drug dealers. He’s also promised to build a wall on the border and to make Mexico pay for it. The event in Mexico’s capital city gave people a chance to vent their anger by taking a whack at Trump. One protester called the billionaire turned candidate an idiot, a xenophobe and a racist. Latinos are a growing segment of the US electorate with rising influence in closely fought states like Florida and Nevada and tend to lean Democratic.
