They didn’t think twice about jumping into action and now they are earning the title of “hero.” Biking across the Stanford University campus after midnight on Jan. 18, 2015, Carl-Fredrik Arndt and Peter Jonsson rolled up on Brock Turner lying on top of a woman next to a dumpster. The Swedish duo didn’t realize the gravity of the situation until peering closer and realizing that the girl was motionless, Arndt told NBC News in an interview.
