Richmond Woman Complains After Costly, Shoddy Paint Job on Mother's Home

Last summer, Cheri Wells’ 76-year-old mother, Mary Jones, was approached by a contractor to paint her Richmond home. The finished work was a bright white paint with bright pink trim that Wells said her mother was strong-armed to accept. Wells also was stunned by the shoddy work and even more astounded by the $14,000 price tag. Consumer Reporter Chris Chmura responds.
