San Mateo County Community College District Chancellor Bought Booze with Public Money

San Mateo County Community College District Chancellor Ron Galatolo used public money to pay for alcohol during meals and business trips, violating a policy expressly prohibiting the purchase of alcohol with the district’s credit card. The NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit uncovered many of the expenses after digging up receipts revealing what Galatolo charged to his hotel room during business trips.
