Santa Cruz Police to Give Updates on Death of Maddy Middleton

A body that appears to be missing 8-year-old Madyson “Maddy” Middleton was pulled out of a Santa Cruz dumpster Tuesday morning, hours after police arrested a 15-year-old neighbor in connection with her death. Police released little about why they took the teen into custody late Monday night, but a news conference was expected on Tuesday. Stephanie Chuang reports.
