Santa Trump is coming to town. In fact, he is already adorning this rooftop in western Japan. Santa Trump appeared as part of an annual tradition, sporting a smartphone and a sign reading “Make America Pen Pineapple Apple Pen.” The Santa is grasping what appears to be a new i-Phone and playing the Pokemon Go game that took the world by storm this year. Several Santa Claus replicas including Olympic athletes decorated the western-style buildings of this old quarter of the Kitano District of Kobe, Hyogo prefecture. Each year the foreign residences, or so-called Ijinkan, are adorned with santas designed to depict events and newsmakers from the past year.
