Seaworld San Diego Final Killer Whale Show

After thousands of performances, the park’s One Ocean orca show ended on Sunday. Closing the chapter on a decades old practice of including killer whales as park entertainers. Seaworld has seen attendance fall since the documentary “blackfish” criticized conditions of captive orcas. This summer, the park will unveil a new attraction in the pool. Orca Encounter is being billed as an educational experience that will show how killer whales eat, communicate and navigate.
