Shark Bites Man Near Farallon Islands Off SF Coast

A shark bit underwater film maker Ron Elliot several times on his hand and wrist Tuesday off the coast of San Francisco, the Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary said. A spokesperson for the sanctuary says Elliot was at “ground zero” for the attack but doesn’t think the bite will stop him from getting in the water again. He is expected to be okay.
