Sheriff Was ‘Indifferent' or ‘Incompetent,' or Both: Chair

“A defective plane that’s crashed, piloted by someone in charge who was “indifferent, incompetent or a combination of both.” That’s the description given Tuesday by the head of the Blue Ribbon Commission tasked with giving the county recommendations on how to improve Santa Clara County’s jails.
