Social Networking, Exercise Apps Aid Running Aficionados

Turns out running – or the idea of running – may not be such a solitary thing after all. A study finds people who like to share their running experiences with others, tend to run more frequently and for longer distances. That sharing comes in the form of social networking and exercise apps. For people who post more frequently, running may even be contagious, MIT researchers say.
