Squaw Valley Blanketed in Record-Setting Snow

Thanks to heavy snowfall during the winter, Squaw Valley will remain open longer this year. The resort has only been able to reach its closing date of July 4 four times since 1960 – the snow hasn’t always been enough to last till then. But in a surprising turn of events, ski-goers will be welcome at Squaw through summer 2017. An exact end date has yet to be determined.
