Stanislaus State University Student Arrested on Suspicion of Attacking Four People

A Stanislaus State University student accused of attacking four people at an on-campus dorm – with a kitchen knife and scissors – is behind bars. Jasmyne Casey, 21, was arrested shortly after the attack on Tuesday. Investigators say Casey’s two roommates were injured, as well as two resident advisors who tried to stop the attack. The RA’s managed to pin down the suspect and keep her down until police arrived. The students who were hurt are all out of the hospital and recovering. Police are still trying to figure out a motive.
