Strong Tremor Rocked Italian Town

A strong tremor rocked the Italian town of Visso on Thursday morning, not far from the epicenter of a series of earthquakes that hit central Italy a day earlier. Residents and emergency services personnel ran as the tremor shook damaged buildings in Visso. Officials reported several injuries in the town and several old rural churches collapsed or were damaged. Schools were ordered to close. The damage is not thought to approach that caused by the major quake that struck central Italy back in August, which devastated several towns and killed nearly 300 people.
