Suspected Twin Peaks Gunman Booked on Murder, Attempted Murder, Carjacking

A suspected gunman was booked early Tuesday in San Francisco after a double homicide in Twin Peaks. Online jail information shows Richard Contreras of San Pablo is in custody after being booked on two counts of murder, one count of attempted murder, carjacking, assault with a semiautomatic firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon. Efforts to reach him or locate an attorney were not immediately successful. Stephanie Chuang reports.
